This is my first time using oil paints, thanks to Lian for explaining to me how they work. :)
Because of the size I had to scan this in six parts; I tried to put it together as seamlessly as I could. Even though it ain't as great as I guess it could have been, I'm proud of it and got attached.

well... the pic didnt load when i first looked at it.. then i clicked it so i can see it bigger.. and i was watching it load.. and boy was it beautiful the blending of colors and the tone it had a sunset or sunrise tone to it.. but anyways.. i got just a bit past the mouth and then boom.. the image diappeared and at the top right hand corner was that dammed red X.. grrrr.. but from what ive seen.. it's beautiful

It looks like yu work those oils well, indeed! This looks so vibrant, I love the colors and his wispy hair. Beauty!

i think this is badass and you should definately post more of your painting. you have an amazing skill with color choice.

the only that really bothers me is the roughness around the inside of the speach bubble thingy, it just seem off is all.

and holy shit! you did an amazing job of peicing this thing together. everytime i try to scan something that's too big everything is all differently shaded and such.

all around great job.
